About Me

“There is always a reason to smile” – Ami Fidèle

Uhm, welcome I suppose.

I’d love to say that I’m regular young man but that’d be a lie,

I always felt that belonged in the 18th or 19th century during the era of romanticism;
to see the rise of women in society, experience the world right after the enlightenment, witness the escapades of Casanova, share a moment in the bravado of Cyrano.

To say that I’m suited for this age as well as an alien is not much of an understatement.

Just to experience memorable moments whether they’re dreadful or joyful is satisfying enough.

“A kiss is a rosy dot over the ‘i’ in loving” – Cyrano de Bergerac

The picture illustrates the character I’m most fond of in all of history, one that wasn’t afraid to pursue idealism even though the world he lived in begged for realism.
He’s the embodiment of chivalry, and one of these days I’ll reach my aspirations and be worthy of being called “Cyrano the II”.

    practicing yoga each day, i have the words of many gurus in my head, and i thought of yoga when i read your “about” page…especially as BKS Iyengar says that (my paraphrase) “to simply attempt a pose is to achieve the full benefit of that pose” …therefore, it seems that you could aptly claim your Cyrano title imminently if not immediately…

  4. You are a man of great taste and substance Ami Fidèle. Un ami fidèle est un abri robuste; qui le trouve a trouvé un trésor. – A loyal friend is a solide refuge; who found one has found a treasure.

    Hello again, I have tagged you for the Lucky 7 Random Editing adventure, as I have found it quite revealing about my current work in progress (and a bit depressing). Anyway, no obligation to take part, but it’s just like a big hug I wanted to extend to those writers I have grown to love and admire. And to say: keep up the good work!
